Most of the people of Bhutan belong to the mongoloid race and speak Dzongkha (The national language) a part of the Tibeto-Burman family. However a sizable part of the population especially in the south is comprised of the Indo-Aryan family and speak Nepali a branch of the Indo-Aryan language system.
